Apply for INGENIUM Hackathon on Sustainable Development Goals

Do you have ideas about how to make campus life more sustainable? Apply for the first INGENIUM Hackathon - online and work together with other European students on the important subject.

The first INGENIUM Hackathon will focus on the integration of the United Nations´ Sustainable Development Goals into university campuses. Apply and become one of the students from all 10 INGENIUM member universities across Europe over two days to explore, reflect, and create new initiatives to make campus life more sustainable.

When: April 17-18.
Where: Drivhuset Innovation Center, Building F at The University of Skövde. The Hackathon will be online which means you have to bring your computer.
Application: By the latest April 11. Fill in the application form below and send it to pauline.vuillemin@univ-rouen.fr   

Students from different linguistic, cultural and academic backgrounds will, in teams of five to six students, collaborate on a topic of their choice. The various topics will be related to sustainable development on university campuses.

The Hackathon is an opportunity for students to collaborate, learn and demonstrate integrated problem-solving and implementation of sustainable development solutions on campus. Each team will present their innovative solutions in a virtual setting to representatives from local authorities affiliated with the INGENIUM alliance.

Ceremony in France for the winning team

The winning team will be invited to the INGENIUM University in Rouen Normandy during the 10 days of INGENIUM from 27-31 May 2024 for a ceremony. The project will be included in the INGENIUM Sustainable Development Goals and European Green Deal Agenda for a long-term implementation.
