Join us! On Saturday 30 September, a Pride Parade is organised in Skövde. The parade is a festive end to the Rainbow Week. The Student Union in Skövde and staff from the University participate in the parade – together. Do you want to join?
If you, as a student, also want to participate in the parade, you are welcome to go together with the Student Union. No registration is required. You can find practical information about the parade on Skövde municipality's website (information in Swedish).
The parade starts at 3 p.m. (gathering from 1:30 p.m.) and begins at Heden, Regementet P4 (in front of the building Markstridsskolan in the military’s area in Skövde). The parade then goes from Heden to the square outside of Skövde Cultural Centre (Kulturhustorget, Kulturhuset, opposite the train station).
Rainbow flag on campus
The University will fly the rainbow flag on campus throughout the rainbow week, September 25-30, to draw attention to the fact that the University value equality and diversity.
