On Thursday, October 29, the Public Health Agency of Sweden informed about new stricter general advice for various parts of Sweden, one of them is Västra Götaland.

The group that is dealing with issues concerning covid-19 at the University of Skövde, had last week a meeting with both the infection control doctor and then with the Vice-Chancellor. During the first week of November, the Public Health Agency of Sweden will probably make a clarification concerning universities. Based on the results, the University of Skövde can make new decisions on additional precautionary measures.

The University has had an weekly contact with the infection control doctor and especially close discussions before the exam week. The infection control doctor believes that the University of Skövde has done what is required to minimise the risk of spread of infection.
