Material ConneXion – materials library and materials database
As a student at the University of Skövde, you have access to one of the most unique collections of innovative material samples in the world. Part of the collection is now on display in the University Library.
Material ConneXion is a material exhibition with its roots in New York, but also has had offices and showrooms in Milan, Bangkok, Tokyo, Bilbao and here in Skövde at the ASSAR Industrial Innovation Arena.
Students and employees at the University also have access to the Material ConneXion database (external link). The materials database contains information about polymers, glass, ceramic materials, carbon-based materials, cement-based materials, metals and natural materials. The database contains images, detailed material descriptions, descriptions of properties, applications for materials and contact details for manufacturers or distributors.
