The University on Equal Terms

Here you will find information on where to turn if you have been subjected to or have witnessed discrimination, harassment, or sexual harassment. At the University of Skövde, we have zero tolerance for discrimination and we actively work to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.

Report Discrimination

To file a report, you can always contact the coordinator for equal treatment at likavillkorstudent@his.se.

You can also reach out to the head of division responsible for your course or program or submit a written report via registrator@his.se.

Additionally, you have the option to report directly to the Equality Ombudsman (do.se).

As an education provider, we are legally obligated to take action and investigate incidents. You can always contact likavillkorstudent@his.se for advice and support.

From Report to Investigation

What Happened?

If you feel targeted, you are the one who determines whether the action or behavior was unwelcome. Make it clear to the person responsible that their behavior is not acceptable, and do not wait to report if you feel affected.

When filing a report, it is helpful to be as detailed as possible and try to answer the following questions:

  • On what grounds were you discriminated against?
  • When did the incident occur?
  • Where did it happen?
  • What happened? (Describe the events in detail)
  • How did you experience the incident?
  • How has the incident affected you?
  • Were there any witnesses?
  • How did you express that the behavior was unwelcome?
