Automatic External Defibrillator

There are several defibrillators at the University. If someone near you has suffered a cardiac arrest, call 112. Then start cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

What to do in the event of cardiac arrest

  1. Call 112 and start cardiopulmonary resuscitation, CPR (instructions in Swedish).
  2. Fetch the defibrillator (see map below).
  3. Switch on the defibrillator while another person performs CPR.
  4. Follow the defibrillator’s instructions.
  5. Do not touch the person when the shock is delivered.
  6. Resume CPR immediately.
  7. Continue to follow the defibrillator’s instructions.
