Automatic External Defibrillator
There are several defibrillators at the University. If someone near you has suffered a cardiac arrest, call 112. Then start cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
What to do in the event of cardiac arrest
- Call 112 and start cardiopulmonary resuscitation, CPR (instructions in Swedish).
- Fetch the defibrillator (see map below).
- Switch on the defibrillator while another person performs CPR.
- Follow the defibrillator’s instructions.
- Do not touch the person when the shock is delivered.
- Resume CPR immediately.
- Continue to follow the defibrillator’s instructions.
Where to find defibrillators
- The area between Building D and the library
- Outside the reception in Building G
- Entrance to Building E, inside the main entrance
- Building A, level 1
- Portalen, level 1, by the lift
- Building H, inside the entrance
- Chancellery, inside the entrance
- Götasalen, just inside the entrance
- Building F, south entrance
