Eduroam has introduced a new and more secure login method using a certificate instead of a username and password. Until 30 September, you can still connect using the old method, but we recommend switching as soon as possible.

What does the change mean?

The new login:

• uses a personal security certificate
• reduces the risk of intrusion and account hijacking
• means you no longer need to enter a username and password – the connection is automatic once the certificate is installed
• still works at other institutions using Eduroam

Follow the installation guide for your operating system at his.se/helpit to download and install your certificate. The guide is available for both computers and mobile devices.
