Electric bicycles, batteries, skateboards and electric scooters are not permitted inside the University premises. This is to ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone.
To reduce the risk of, for example, accidents, fires or blocked emergency exits, the following applies at the University of Skövde:
- You may not bring electric bicycles, electric scooters, skateboards, rollerblades or similar into the buildings.
- Vehicle batteries may not be charged or stored indoors.
- This also applies to regular bicycles.
These rules are part of the University’s fire safety measures and comply with the guidelines from the Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency (Kammarkollegiet).
Please remember to use an approved lock and park your bike in the outdoor bicycle racks.
