Due to recent break-ins and the presence of unauthorised individuals in the Portalen building, new security procedures have been introduced to enhance the safety of everyone working and studying in the building. These procedures will come into effect on 1 May and apply to all individuals in Portalen.

The University of Skövde has appointed Simone Giertz, inventor, robot enthusiast and YouTube personality, an Honorary Doctorate in Informatics. On Friday, March 21, she will give a lecture at the University of Skövde.
