Do you want your master’s thesis to contribute to the knowledge base on sustainability challenges in West Sweden? Through Wexsus’ initiative for all master’s students writing their thesis during the spring semester of 2027, Thesis Clusters for Sustainable Transition, you will have the opportunity to work on complex societal challenges in a multidisciplinary setting, together with fellow students from different universities and external societal actors.
This year, you can work with organisations including: Innovatum, the City of Gothenburg, Region Västra Götaland, AgroVäst, Smarta Kartan, the County Administrative Board, the City of Trollhättan, and many more.
This year’s theme is Just Transition - how can we achieve the climate transition while safeguarding people, society and nature?
The 2026/2027 Thesis Clusters focus on four areas, all important for a Just Climate Transition:
