Computer software for online education
Whether a specific software that you normally use in a computer lab is available for remote use or not depends on what school you belong to.
The computer labs on campus are not completely replicated to be available from a remote connection. As a student though, you have the possibility to access your home folder and some University software by installing VMware Horizon Client.
If you normally use the following computer labs you will find the same software in Horizon Client:
- A403
- A404
- A405
- A406
- E102
- E104
- G103
- G219
- G220.
Note that the number of simultaneous users is limited to 160, so there can be capacity issues if a lot of users try to connect at the same time. Some software also have a limited number of available licenses.
