The University of Skövde’s study and career counsellors offer both general guidance and guidance relating to specific subject areas. During a session with us, we will help you organise your thoughts and explore the pathways and opportunities available to help you achieve your goals. Counselling sessions are free of charge and confidential.

Do you have questions about your education?

Each programme has an assigned Study and Career Counsellor who can provide guidance on matters related to your studies and on possible career opportunities after graduation.

A counselling session may, for example, include support and guidance regarding:

• your current study situation and study planning
• credit transfer
• withdrawal from studies
• approved leave from studies
• how to complete your degree
• opportunities to study abroad
• labour market prospects within your field of study
• planning for your future studies and career.

You can contact us by telephone if you have any questions. Our telephone hours are Monday and Thursday, 11 am to 12 noon. The study and career counsellor you should contact depends on your subject area. You can find information about which counsellor is responsible for each subject area on his.se. You will also find their telephone numbers there.
