The Student Support is still here for you

We know this spring has been more challenging than usual for many of our students. We would just like to remind you that the Student Support team is still around and can help with a lot of your questions.

– For a lot of students the sudden switch to distance learning may cause different issues and raise questions – both of a more practical nature and on a personal level. We are still working with our students' best in mind – don't hesitate to get in touch, says Malin Westlund (Student and Career Counsellor) and Lena Wikström (Social Counsellor).

The Student Support team is trying to adapt as well and you can reach them through a phone call, email or Zoom. Via digital channels, they still do booked appointments as well as the regular drop-in hours. They have also gathered some useful tips for successful distance studies.

Webinars and “fika”

– Through the rest of the semester we are offering recurring webinars and fika-appointments via Zoom. These are open for all students, to meet the need for both academic development as well as the social part of student life you miss when you are not on campus, says Lena Wikström.

There are three different webinar themes coming up, one on how to handle stress and distance studying, one on procrastination and one on how to find a job in Sweden. Check the calendar on Studentportalen to get more information and the Zoom-links for our different webinars and fikas.
